Earth Fiber Crack Shield Alkali Resistant (AR) Glass Fibers are manufactured from a specially formulated glass composition containing an optimum level of Zirconia (ZrO2 > 16.7%). Impervious to the high alkaline environment (pH > 12.5) of hydrating cement, they enhance tensile strength and modulus, do not rust like steel, and easily incorporate into concrete mixes.
